The Blue Algae, An assamese Rock music band based in Assam, India. Founded by Pranjit Exan Hazarika in 2021 including Karan Rao, Lune aka Mayur, Uttam Boruah and Arup Das. Formed with an initiative to save the band music in Assam, the band basically works in rich Assamese music and it's culture including music of Shree Shree Sankardeva's Borgeet to the contemporary modern songs belonging to various genres such as Rock, Electronic Dance Music(EDM), Trap, Future Base, Pop, Pop Rock, Indie, World and Folk, etc.
